About Us

For decades, the issue of aging has not received much attention in Taiwan. Up to now, the population of the elderly over 65 years old accounts for 10% of the total population of China. As the fertility rate continues to decline and the average life expectancy of Chinese people continues to increase, it is expected that the proportion of the elderly population will increase more rapidly. The natural population increase rate is expected to show zero growth in 2018. China's population structure has gradually changed from a "pyramid" type to a "hoist" type. According to this trend, it will soon be transformed into an "inverted pyramid" type. The rapid aging of the population is an important issue facing the society. Because the elderly population needs more medical care and social services, it will have many impacts on the society. It is worthy of the serious consideration of the public, and it also requires management research at all levels. According to current statistics, about 80% of the elderly have at least one chronic disease, and 50% have at least two chronic diseases that cause the elderly to be disabled, painful, or even lose some basic functions of life for many years.

In addition, the vast majority of older people point out that they are unable to carry out activities that are needed in daily life, such as bathing, shopping, dressing, and eating, which have a huge impact on the quality of life and increase the burden on family members and caregivers. Therefore, it is foreseeable that the cost of medical care will increase rapidly. Although the concept of the silver hair industry has gradually been valued, there is still a lack of research on the needs and response plans of the ethnic group. It is not only unable to promote industrial development but also difficult to meet the huge silver-haired population. Therefore, the School of Management established the Silver Development Industry Development and Research Center in February 2011. Combining medical management, business management, information management, and industrial design, the four major aspects of the Yinfa people's whole-person care model and industrial development are proposed, namely, care needs, care supply, business model and financial security. These four structural planes are built under the modern information management system and the information technology is interlocked with each other.

Center Structure

  1. Healthcare supply: food management services, pay attention to health appeals and salt control, provide a balanced diet package for the silver-haired people, and with health tea and health vinegar drink. Medication reminds health care services and introduces health care products such as calcium supplements and multivitamins. Establish a health check-up center to promote the concept of preventive medicine, "early detection, early treatment". Establish a physical abnormality monitoring and strengthen emergency medical mechanism, establish a health consultation line, family service, abnormal surveillance and notification of the attending physician system for the silver-haired family, and establish a standardized procedure with the family medicine department, at any time, the silver-haired family has a detailed health status. In addition, we rent sphygmomanometers and blood glucose meters for chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes and provide medicines and shopping products to the government. We also provide the manpower and facilities needed for the elderly home care community to build elderly care. Mid-term care system.
  2. The wisdom of the elderly housing: humanized universal design into the life, to facilitate the living space of the elderly activities, including the refrigerator to make some improvements, so that the refrigerator can be raised and can be completely opened; design products such as lifting The sink, the sink can be adjusted up or down to suit different heights; the electric lifter assists the toilet, and the toilet lid can be raised automatically. After the elderly are in the toilet, they can get up automatically without the help of others. Regularly carry out safety inspections on Yinfa residences, establish home security facilities and maintenance equipment, use tempered glass for doors and windows, and keep the corridors open. Floors are selected from slippery materials in corridors, washrooms, stairway handrails, and nightlights. Pad, seat back and armrests. Accessible pedestrian walkway facilities, as well as barrier-free public buildings and event venues, are very important, with exclusive transport connection services, scheduled to travel, easy to go out and seek medical care.
  3. The life aids: by the Japanese people proposed portable video doorbell because the elderly are slower, often come out of the room, people have gone, sometimes because of the hard to hear the doorbell. Design a portable video doorbell for this need, like a large mobile phone, with a screen, video, or external mobile phone. If someone clicks the doorbell, the portable device can see the person in front of the walkie-talkie and can talk to it. If you go there, you can take it there, even if you can see the other person in the room, you don't have to rush out. You can also receive an external mobile phone. If someone does not press the doorbell at home, you can instantly transfer the video to the mobile phone and talk to the visitor. In addition to the common crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs, the Japanese acted freely for the elderly, but if they stayed for a long time, the feet were sour, designing the elderly car, similar to a shopping cart, so that the elderly could push to go shopping or walking, and match Have a chair, if you are tired, you can sit down at any time, and the chair of the shopping cart can also adjust the height.
  4. leisure and entertainment: for the silver-haired family to launch a dedicated mobile phone, the use of simple emphasis, design video game console game to prevent Alzheimer's disease. Set up a community-long event to encourage the elderly to connect with relatives and friends and community members. The silver-haired people have the strong economic strength and sufficient time for entertainment and leisure. The design of overseas travel focuses on the pleasure of self-satisfaction, the safety of travel is the first priority, and the health of the silver-haired people needs to be accompanied by the leader or guide of medical knowledge. Considering the physical strength of the silver-haired people, the trip should not be too compact.
  5. Financial aspects: The silver-haired people are also worried about the economic burden caused by their health status, and the insurance and financial planning for the silver-haired people. It is proposed to provide health care for the elderly patients, to care for life, and to design a continuous healthcare supplemented by diseases.
